emlyon career groups

Alumni groups are unique in that they draw on a collective dynamic to support your project and enrich your reflection and actions. The insightful and kind perspectives of others, guided by our facilitators, help to enrich your project and foster awareness of your own qualities.

Our approach is based on the fundamental values of commitment, mutual support, mutual respect and confidentiality, creating a safe space where everyone can express themselves freely and move forward with confidence and determination.

The Career Resource Group

Founded in 2004, the Resource Group is one of the exclusive services offered by the Career Department. Its main objective is to support graduates in their professional journey by providing them with a conducive environment for exchange and collaboration.

Structured around six half-day workshops, this group offers participants (6 to 10 people) the opportunity to structure their professional needs, desires and goals.

Here's what you can expect from your participation in the Resource Group:

  • Sharing of experiences, practices and methods to develop your professional network.
  • Regular support in your job search to keep your motivation at its highest level.
  • An enriching experience of collective intelligence thanks to everyone's contributions and the supportive feedback aimed at strenghtening the talents and confidence of each participant.

The Group is led by Claire Fabre (Ms 06).

Two sessions are organised each year: September to December, and March to June.

The Retirement Group

At every stage of your career, retirement looms large. However, with the regulatory fluctuations induced by reforms, planning for it can seem complex and uncertain. This is where the Retirement Group comes in, ready to support you through this transition with workshops specially designed for you.

You may be wondering how to approach this new chapter in your life. Whether you are still working or recently retired, if you aspire to be fully prepared for this transition and shape the years ahead, the Retirement Group is for you.

Gathered in small groups (4 to 6 people), you will have the opportunity to become aware of this major transition, take an in-depth look at your past experiences, explore new lines of thought, highlight your aspirations, and design a dynamic action plan to approach this next stage of your life with peace of mind.

The Group is led by Béatrice Tisseau (PGE 80). It takes place once a year in the first semester.
