We are pleased to announce that emlyon business school has successfully renewed its AACSB accreditation for a period of six years—the maximum duration possible.
Just a few months after renewing its EQUIS accreditation, this AACSB reaccreditation, which we have held since 2005 (exactly 20 years ago!), is a testament to our strong performance in terms of the quality of our pedagogy, research, and internationalization, as well as the excellence of our faculty and students.
This success is the result of a collective effort involving multiple teams within the School. Led by the Quality, Accreditations & Rankings team, in coordination with the Executive Committee (COMEX), this process has mobilized numerous colleagues, whom we warmly thank for their commitment and contribution to this achievement.
✅ A Reaccreditation That Highlights Our School’s Excellence and Commitment
The AACSB expert committee particularly commended:
📍 Our commitment to equal opportunities—especially our ambitious scholarship policy, which enables students to receive up to 100% tuition coverage.
📍 Our research strategy aligned with the School’s vision—our research centers and institutes are fully integrated into the School’s strategic plan, helping to attract top-tier faculty and strengthen a strong sense of belonging within an engaged community.
📍 Student employability—by integrating internships and professional experiences into our programs and leveraging our dynamic alumni network, our graduates benefit from almost immediate employability.
📍 The Assurance of Learning (AOL) process—a key management tool for evaluating students’ achievement of learning objectives. This process is recognized for its clarity and seamless integration into our programs. Thanks to our dedicated faculty, AOL fosters in-depth reflection on continuous improvement actions that benefit both the programs and our students.
📍 The Maker’s Lab, a unique asset—the School was also praised for its ability to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset through its innovative educational approach, particularly within our Maker’s Lab. The “maker” concept, which thrives on continuous interaction between reflection and action, is fully embraced by our faculty and students, demonstrating the alignment between the School’s strategy, its programs, its pedagogy, and its societal impact.
