emlyon Business School Alumni Event in the UAE: A Memorable Reunion at Pernod Ricard Middle East!

It was a true pleasure to welcome emlyon alumni from the UAE last week to the Head Office of Pernod Ricard Middle East for an unforgettable alumni gathering. A special thank you goes out to Pierre Aymeric du Cray, CEO Pernod Ricard ME, for hosting us at such an incredible venue and making this event possible!

The evening provided a wonderful opportunity for old friends to reconnect and for new connections to be made. We were also fortunate to hear from two distinguished speakers. Virginie Lafont, Head of recruitment Executive's programs from emlyon, shared valuable insights and exciting updates about the new campus, giving us a glimpse into the future of emlyon. Pierre Aymeric, on the other hand, provided us with fascinating insights into how Pernod Ricard is growing and expanding in the Middle East, navigating the unique challenges posed by the region’s specificities. Their contributions made the evening even more enriching and offered us a deeper understanding of both the school’s development and the dynamic business landscape in the Middle East.

This event marked the first alumni gathering in the UAE in the past three years, making it even more special. As your alumni ambassador for the UAE, I am truly delighted to have the privilege of organizing such events for you in the coming years. It is an honor to continue fostering our network and creating spaces for alumni to connect and support each other.

As we approach the festive season and look ahead to the new year, I wish you all the best for a joyful and prosperous time with your loved ones. May 2025 bring continued success, happiness, and new opportunities.

Looking ahead, I am excited to announce that we will definitely be meeting again in 2025, when we plan to organize an Iftar gathering during Ramadan. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there for another great opportunity to reconnect and strengthen our alumni community.
